I Am Genius!

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday! Just some quick updates:

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT UPDATE #1

As shown in the picture to the left, my amazing beautiful friends and I have developed a Lucky Charms addiction! Now before you judge, can you really blame us? How are we supposed to walk into the Food Zoo each day, look at the sub par entree for the day and not scurry over to the real pot of gold??? Also before you have a cow, despite the Food Zoo menu being pretty mid for the most part, we are very thankful for the effort and we do eat the main meal daily alongside our scrumptious bowls of Lucky Charms!

Well... we used to. That was up until this week when the Food Zoo unfortunately removed our main source of nutrients (the Lucky Charms) from the menu options. We are disheartened to say the least, but hoping for a quick return!!
CRAZY UPDATE #2

To the right is the best picture I have of my amazing comically genius friend, Aidia who is also an Elementary Ed major! She and I have two classes together which is so much fun! Recently, we had a history mid-term and let me tell you, she and I studied our butts off. I mean we were up all hours of the night (true) quizzing each other (and chatting), searching our notes (and the internet) for answers, doing whatever we could to prepare for this exam.

When it came time to test, we thought we were going to throw up we were so nervous. But we did it! In fact, Aidia took her exam two days before me because she is a queen. We were so nervous to get our scores back because neither of us felt the most confident in the world about how we did but the moment of truth came and.... WE BOTH PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS!! WOOOHOOO! So trust, when we finally become elementary school teachers, we're going to be the bomb.com!

FINAL MOST WILD UPDATE #3

Today was our first, of many snow days of the year!! WOOHOO! To the left is my wonderful friend, Dylan! She's not from here if you weren't able to infer that from the photo, HA- she's an LA girly! Actually today was the coldest day she has ever experienced in her whole life! How wild is that?? Additionally, it was apparently 80 degrees in LA today so she was ultra-shocked by the sudden change of weather, it was an amazing reaction to witness.

What is my take on the snow, you might be wondering? I mean, was it absolutely magical to look out my window this morning and see snow everywhere? Of course! I would describe staring out my window from my warm dorm room as quite the dreamy experience. But going out in the snow was a whole other story and I'm going to be honest; walking around with my eyes burning and drying out from the wind, my hands feeling more numb by the second, my feet growing colder with each step, and constantly trying to keep from slipping on the ice... not my cup of tea. Still yet, I cannot wait for more snow to fall because one of these days I am going to be able to make a snowman and that will make everything else worth it!!

Okay! That's all for today! Have a wonderful week and keep warm!!

All my love, Brookie G
